The sirens were going off through the neighborhood! Why??? Well, because Santa was checking on all the little kids in the neighborhood. Aniston got to see Santa a few days before the BIG day. He was nice enough to throw her some candy while he paraded the streets. It was super cute to watch Aniston's excited face. ( :

Here Comes Santa Claus!!
Today was a fun-filled day of Christmas decorations and pictures. I may have overdone it this year with the decorating, but Aniston loves it and that's all that matters. My mom gave me lots of Christmas decorations that belonged to her and my granny. It's cool to see them displayed in our home. Aniston decorated the Chrismas tree with lots of icicles which shroud the bottom half of the tree. It's quite cute. Then at the end of the day, we had a surprise visitor. ( : Great times and wonderful memories.

Happy Halloween 2012
We went to Baxter Village to see some friends so Aniston could go trick or treating with their kids. Oh, what fun! This was Aniston's first REAL experience going door to door. She was hilarious because when we went to the first couple of houses, she would try to go in...especially if they had a dog. Aniston LOVES dogs. She stopped doing this after the second house because she became extremely focused on the hunt for candy. She also negotiated with people by asking if she could have one more piece. Not many could resist her charm. The second to last house we went to, Aniston stopped at the bottom of someone's steps and she said, "Mommy, I'm tired now." She made it to the last house, but needless to say, we had no troubles getting her to bed that night.

Aniston 2 Years and 4 months
It is the most amazing thing in the world to watch our girl grow from a little baby into an active toddler. Some of the things that she enjoys doing is going to the park and swinging and sliding down the big slides. While we're at the park, she will go up to other kids and ask them to play. Aniston loves to be outside so she can look for bugs. She is very insync with all the animal sounds and she will name the animal sounds that she hears. Right now, she is extremely fascinated by lizards. We have a lizard that hides out around our shed and sometimes he will come out to say hello. We also go to the library every week so she can pick out a few books and play in the kids area. She still LOVES to read. Sometimes when she thinks I'm not watching, she will open up books and attempt to read and show the same actions that I do when I'm reading to her. It is so cute.
One thing is for sure, we have a blast with Aniston and stay extremely busy with her. She has seen and experienced so many wonderful things and she is just two years old. Oh my, I can't wait till the summer...so many fun things planned!
