I am sitting here writing this with a big smile on my face as I sit and watch my baby girl walk around the living room. She just learned to walk a couple of days ago and now she is showing off her confidence. She is so hilarious because she is into everything lately. She loves playing with our cell phones, the stereo stystem, all the our books/magazines, cups, etc. Why just the other day, she turned off the big t.v. She mimicks me talking on the phone by holding her hand up to her ear and she will start talking. The other night she was going through her cloth book and acting like she was reading. She is learning so quickly. I am so proud!

44-45 Weeks
Aniston is communicating her bye bye's and her Hi's very clearly these days. She also says DJ as DGAY and she sometimes says Thank you as Dang GOO. I notice every now and then that she will try to repeat words and sounds. She is still singing her ABC's....although she hasn't made it past D yet in her Alphabet song...still a huge accomplishment.
She hasn't started walking yet, but it is coming soon I do believe! Everyday I will walk her around the house and we practice putting one foot in front of the other. I generally start out holding both her hands and then will just hold one. She gets a little wobbly but she keeps her balance pretty well.
Halloween- Our Little Bumble Bee
For Aniston's First Halloween, we took her to a kids festival at Baxter Village. At this event, there were several kids showing off their cute little costumes, magicians, games and they also had a hot dog roast. We had fun! When it came time for all the kids to go trick or treating, we left. We got several pictures of Aniston in her costume and looking as cute as ever.

41-43 Weeks Happy 10 Months as of 10/29/2010
Aniston is talking more and more everyday! Most of it is just babble, but she sure likess to talk! She may take after me on that one! ( : Anyway, recently she has been trying to sing the ABC song. She will start off with A....B.....C.....D.....then she will stop and start over. I sing her the ABC song several times a day. Seems like she is catching on. Don't get me wrong, she isn't pronouncing the letters perfectly, but she definitely has the tune down. It is so sweet.
I haven't found a food that she doesn't like yet. It seems like she loves everything that she has tried so far. She's easy breezy in the food department.
I took her to the park the other day and pushed her in the swing. This was her first time swinging and she laughed so hard for the first five minutes. She was in love with swinging!
Her newest favorite show is Sid the Science Kid...although, she still loves Baby Einstein.
Aniston attended her first NFL game against the 49ers last Sunday. She was so well behaved and seemed to enjoy every minute. Aniston was the Panthers good luck charm because they won their first game. ( :

40 Weeks
Aniston's personality is really shining! She laughs at us when we do funny things with her, but she can humor herself as well. Sometimes she will get this overjoyed look on her face as if to imply that all is great in the world. It is really quite adorable. Her favorite thing to do is stand at the coffee table and bang on it as loud as she can. When she is really getting into it, she will put a little "AAAAAAHHHHHHHHH" as she makes the beats. I seriously wouldn't doubt it if she follows in the footsteps of her musically talented family. She really loves music! Her favorite song is still Jason Mraz's song, "I'm Yours."
Aniston continues to eat more adult type foods, but it just has to be cut up in very small pieces. She has tried hot dogs, lasagna, pieces of hamburger meat, cantelope, crackers, macaroni and cheese, vegetables, etc.

37-38 Weeks
Aniston is using the coffee table and couch to help her walk. I'm thinking she is going to be walking in the next couple of months. She is definitely showing signs of it. Her bottom teeth have almost came in completely. The thing that is complicating her right now is the top teeth. Her gums get pretty swollen and red.
Her 9 month appointment is at the end of the week!

35-36 Weeks
Okay, so I have to get better about putting updates on the website! Aniston is starting to identify the difference between Ma Ma and Da Da. It is so sweet hearing her say our names over and over again. She has a gigantic tooth that is coming in on top?? It almost looks as though its not a baby tooth coming in. Maybe it just looks big to me. ( : As Aniston approaches nine months, she will begin eating more foods that we eat. Her 9 month appointment is October 1st, and at this appointment she will get more shots and we will talk about what kinds of food she can try. We fed her a little bit of yogurt the other day from Pink Berry and she LOVED it. We didn't give her too much because of the sweetners. Not sure her tummy is ready for all that yet. Aniston loves to talk and sing with music. Every time I sing to her or when there is a song on the radio she will say, "AAHHHHHHHH." In my opinion, she is singing!
I recently created her a Photo Story DVD. I have a book that I narrated for her with pictures and put it on a DVD. She LOVES it! I have her grampy put the DVD in everyday just so she can hear my voice, and he said she just stops and listens while it plays. It makes me feel so much better to know that I am reading to her throughout the day when I can't be there. I created a new tune to a song on my guitar that I am going to record for her so she can hear that as well. Her daddy and I are going to be singing on the recording.
Aniston is such a HAPPY and HEALTHY baby and I couldn't ask for more than that. She brings us so much joy everyday!

34 Weeks!
Aniston is such a sweet and playful baby. She smiles all the time and laughs at the silliest things. Her personality is really coming through.
I went back to work two weeks ago and that was pretty hard leaving my baby girl. She went a few days to try daycare, but it wasn't working for us. She is now back with grampy....she is much happier and getting one on one care. Now I can focus at work! Mom and I are contemplating opening our own daycare service for teachers. We are such dreamers!!! Maybe when we win the lottery, we can do it!
Note from Aniston:
Hey Carson I can't wait to see you soon! I also can't wait to see my cousin, Hannah in a month! We have big plans!! ( : Hee Hee

31 Weeks!
Aniston is crawling all over the house...she is an unstoppable baby! We have discovered that Aniston doesn't really need toys because she only likes to play with curtains, mats, door stoppers, blankets, pillows, etc. The newest thing she is doing is playing patty cake. She will clap her hands with me when I sing it to her. So adorable!
Some of her favorites: Baby Einstein Baby Sounds, Dr. Suess Books, and her learn and play dog.

30 Weeks! Happy 7 Months My Little Crawling Machine!
Aniston went to the doctor today for her routine appointment and she weighed in at 21.9lbs and is 281/4 inches long. I am surprised that she didn't grow more than a 1/4 inch over the summer, but she is still in the 95th percentile. Aniston checked out once again with a great bill of health. The doctor says she is doing excellent! Developmentally, Aniston is right on target and even ahead in some areas. We're just the happiest parents!
Aniston is crawling so well...it is wonderful to see her crawl to things that she wants to touch. I'm not sure how long she is going to crawl because now she is pushing up on her feet. I'm thinking walking is going to be in the very near future.
She has a 2nd tooth coming in on the bottom that hasn't quite pushed its way through the gums. Her 1st tooth is completely in and is still working its way up. ( :

29 Weeks
Aniston in her robe after a nice swim with mommy.

Well....the summer is nearing the end and I am so excited to say that Aniston can sit up from a laying down position....she can make vowel and consonant sounds.....she eats 3 solid food meals a day.....she can drink for a little while out of a sippy cup....she can CRAWL as of July 23rd....and she can now independently play with her toys. It is so sweet to watch her play and dump things out. She and I have had an enjoyable and peaceful summer together. It has been so nice. Not sure how I'm supposed to go back to work after such a great summer with my daughter....guess I better start buying lottery tickets!

Trip to the Walnut Street Bridge and The Aquarium July 15, 2010
Yesterday Aniston and I ventured out to downtown Chattanooga to walk across the Walnut Street Bridge (about a mile distance). This bridge stands over the beautiful Tennessee River. The day was perfect for walking. Our next stop was at the newest edition to the Aquarium; the salt water fish. Aniston saw sharks, stingrays (I touched one), penguins, jellyfish, butterflies, and much more of the sea life. We got to sit in a little hole that sits inside of the aquarium, and we also went down into a cave with aquarium life all around us. We ended our day by relaxing and swimming in the pool. Aniston was so tired. She fell asleep by 8pm. and slept through the night. I was glad because I was tired too. What a great day...we just missed daddy.

27 Weeks (Sippy Queen)
Aniston is learning little at a time to hold and drink from a sippy cup. She doesn't know what to think about the formula coming out so fast. I've been putting about 1 oz. of formula in the sippy just for starters.
Her newest development is being able able to say....bababa, dadada, mamama. She can also go from her stomach to a sitting position. She is still trying to crawl, but she hasn't quite grasped it yet.
Aniston is about to embark on a long road trip with me to see all our friends in Chattanooga. We're going for my Goddaughter's 2nd birthday party. She gets to see LOTS of babies/toddlers on this trip. Daddy can't go because he has to work. ) : We will take several pictures and post them on the site.

Aunt Jan and Michael's visit June 30-July 2.
What a great visit with the family! Aunt Jan and Michael came to visit us and stayed a couple of days. We went downtown for a tour of Charlotte, Dwayne gave them a tour of the Panthers Stadium, we went to T-Bones on the Lake to eat, then we went to Longitude 81 for dinner, and then we ended the evening having good times at mom and Dans. It was such a calm and peaceful evening with family. The cutest thing was watching Aunt Jan and mom giggle through the night like a couple of school girls as they spoke of their memories about their days together in elementary, middle, and high school.
